At VFOF, our goal is to inspire and stimulate people to explore their relationship with the ocean by bringing together local and international filmmakers and presenters in a multimedia event and film competition.

The second annual Vancouver Festival of Ocean Films (VFOF), Canada’s only film festival dedicated to the issues, sports and personalities of the oceans, will be presented online from July 25th to July 31st, 2011, showcasing a suite of new films guaranteed to inspire fascination and wonder with the sea.

Presenting an international selection of films, the second VFOF will be viewable online without charge to a global audience thereby reinforcing our belief that ocean issues and events are as important to people who may never travel to the sea as they are to coastal dwellers.  This year's festival winner will be selected by the viewing audience through our online voting system. We will also be having a draw for some awesome swag from Ethical Bean Coffee!!
